If you're on the fence, you can check out this 13-page preview. 2010-01-23 The first issue of GHOST PROJEKT is in the current Diamond Previews catalogue and will be hitting comic stores on March 3rd! 2009-11-10 The long-awaited softcover collection of THE ESCAPISTS hits comic stores this Thursday! To celebrate, I'm running a contest for anyone who picks it up. 2009-09-11 Doing a little dusting around here, I just updated my bio, checklist, awards, photos and interviews pages in the About Steve section. I also updated the upcoming appearances page with an important change: I will now be doing the Toronto Word On The Street, so that I may attend the Shuster Awards the night before. You can still buy my books + prints from my table at the Vancouver WOTS but I won't be there in person. Sorry! 2009-09-05 I've updated the Stuff To Buy section with information on how to order my self-published sketchbooks and mini-comics. In the same section, I've also updated the Amazon links to the various graphic novels I've worked on. 2009-07-24 An interview with me is up at The Fabler Blog, including a page of art from Ghost Projekt. 2009-07-17 WEBSITE NOTICE: I am aware that my gallery section is currently down, due to an upgrade on our server. Our commando web team is currently looking into the problem during the few minutes per day not spent at the pub or playing video games. You know how it is. In other news, the Joe Shuster Awards have nominated Emiko Superstar in the Comics For Kids category. 2009-04-09 Oh hey! I've been nominated in the Artist category of the Joe Shuster Canadian Comic Book Creator Awards. 2009-02-25 Well, it seems Emiko Superstar came up the winner in the Young Adult Graphic Novel category of the Cybils -- the children's and young adults bloggers' literary awards. Good stuff. 2008-11-19 I keep forgetting to post news items here on my main site. My apologies. In the past 10 months, I've been to a bunch of conventions and festivals. I've also had some comics released, such as Emiko Superstar from Minx Books (a line of graphic novels from DC Comics, which will soon be ceasing publication). I also contributed to short stories in House of Mystery #4 from DC/Vertigo and the anthologies Comix & Stories and You Ain't No Dancer vol 3. I'll put a little info about those on my site when I get a chance. My next comic book will be Ghost Projekt, a mini-series that writer Joe Harris and I are doing at Oni Press. My livejournal is still the best place to follow my news and art on a regular basis. But I'm usually good at keeping my upcoming releases & appearances page up-to-date. If I'm slow with this stuff, hopefully it's because I'm busy drawing some great comics for you all to read!
